In 2007, two of my best friends and I had the time of our lives camping on Hermit Island. This was my first experience with Hermit Island, and surely won't be the last. It was in May, so it was a bit too cold to spend the day swimming, but the water was just too inviting - I had to take a quick and refreshing dip! I think my favorite part about camping there was the ability to get fresh lobsters and steamers to enjoy right at our campsite! It just doesn't get better than that. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place for you.
